Hands On Technology

Through the infusion of arts and technology, we educate the WHOLE child.

At Laurel, we try to keep on the cutting edge of technology and offer students opportunities to learn lots of different computer skills. Some of the things that kids get to experience in the computer lab are:

  • Keyboarding/Typing and 
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Google Suite of Apps (Slides, Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.)
  • Simple Video Editing (WeVideo)
  • Basic animation (Pivot Animator)
  • Coding (code.org, Scratch, Minecraft, Dash Robots, etc.)
  • Virtual Reality (coSpaces, VR headsets)
  • 3D Printing
