Journey Into Government (JIG) is a unique experience that is offered every other year. We partner with World Strides to go on a five-day field trip to Washington D.C. and Colonial Williamsburg. Check out World Stride's website for more information!
Students in fourth and fifth grades will have the opportunity to sign up for this trip. Depending on the year, there may be scholarships and fundraising available to help pay for this completely optional experience. In addition to the trip in May or June, students meet after school once a month to develop connections with other students in the club and learn more about how our government works. We learn about some of the sites we get to visit and have a lot of fun!
This educational opportunity is available every other year. It's a once-in-a-lifetime experience that your child won't want to miss!
